DELIVERY POLICY

PREPARATION

Normally order is shipped out within 7~10 business days after payment accepted. It excludes weekend and holidays. It can be faster or later according to product stock status, manufacturing issues and any other reasons.

– If any preorder item is included in the order, all the items will be shipped after the preorder item released.

– We ship out orders on the basis of first come first served regardless of shipping method. Shipping can be delayed during busy season (Korean holidays, Christmas & new year season, etc) and due to order rush.

– Shipment notification and photos of package would be emailed to customer’s kpopita account email after dispatched.

– If any inquiry on order or assistance (address change / update, payment error, wrong information, etc.), customer should email to [email protected] within 24 hours after payment accepted.

– Incoterms of all the shipping methods is DAP (Delivered at Place) thus none of accidents (damage/lost, theft, robbery, destruction, etc) or natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunamis, flood, etc.) are compensated unless customer pays for insurance separately. If customer wants to insurance for possible damages or accidents, customer should email to [email protected] within 24 hours after placing the order and pay insurance cost.

– Messages at order page would be missed easily. Please do not leave a message at order page but send email to [email protected].

  Support team will answer you within 1 ~ 24 hours.

– Please do not use icloud.com, mac.com, me.com and mail.ru as kpopita account. These email addresses reject shipment notification email and even erase it.

PACKING

Products are packed in bubble wraps and hard paper box basically.

– Products can be packed in 2 or more parcels due to package size/weight/volume and shipping fee increase. Delivery time of each parcel can be different because of the local postal circumstance though they are under the same order.

– Packing stuff can be changed from Box to bubble vinyl bag due to product size and weight. Poster is packed in hard poster tube.

SHIPPING METHOD

kpopita offers various shipping options, all of which are efficient and reliable. Shipping fee is fluctuated by various factors as product weight (quantity), ship to country, unfolded poster option, shipping method, etc.

Contact number is mandatory for traceable shipping methods (K-Packet, EMS, EMS Premium, DHL, UPS).

Shipping method can be changed/upgraded without notice if figured out package size/volume is not matched with the shipping method chosen by customer. Orders can be combined without notice while packing process as well.

1. SMALL PACKET AIR MAIL

(a) Not Traceable. No Tracking Number.

(b) Common mail delivery by local post office at destination country thus sender (kpopita) cannot know where the shipment is until customer would receive it.

(c) Only 1 contact number would be mentioned on the shipment according to Korea postal service shipping policy.

(d) Shipment notification is emailed including photos of package to customer’s kpopita account email after the package is dispatched.

(e) Normally takes 14 to 40 business days to deliver to other regions after dispatched and can take longer due to the local postal service circumstances at destination country (can take months to some areas sometimes, much delayed in recent and not guaranteed delivery schedule).

(f) Sender (kpopita) is not responsible for any damage or lost of small packet during delivery. Non-traceable shipment is not covered by insurance.

2. K-PACKET

(a) Traceable Type Small Packet Air Mail. With Tracking Number (LK*********KR, LP*********KR, LI*********KR, RK*********KR).

(b) Only 1 contact number would be mentioned on the shipment according to Korea postal service shipping policy.

(c) Shipment notification is emailed including tracking number as photos to customer’s kpopita account email after the package is dispatched. Tracking for shipment is available from the next business day of shipping.

(d) Normally takes 10 to 23 business days to deliver to other regions after dispatched and can take longer due to the local postal service circumstances at destination country (take more than 60 days to some areas sometimes, much delayed in recent and not guaranteed delivery schedule).

(e) Sender (kpopita) is not responsible for any damage or lost of K-Packet during delivery. Not covered by insurance.

3. EMS

(a) Traceable Express Mail. With Tracking Number (EG*********KR or EY*********KR).

(b) Only 1 contact number would be mentioned on the shipment according to Korea postal service shipping policy.

(c) Shipment notification is emailed including tracking number as photos to customer’s kpopita account email after the package is dispatched. Tracking for shipment is available from the next business day of shipping.

(d) Normally takes 2 ~ 7 business days to deliver to other regions after dispatched (can take more than 30 business days to some areas according to local postal service circumstances / much delayed in recent and not guaranteed delivery schedule).

(e) Custom clearance and weekend are not included in delivery period.

(f) Only English letters are available for Brazil. Delivery information (name, address) should be provided in English.

(e) Sender (kpopita) is not responsible for any damage or lost of K-Packet during delivery. Not covered by insurance.

4. EMS PREMIUM

(a) Traceable Express Mail. With Tracking Number (UP*********KR).

(b) Managed by Korea post and delivered by UPS courier at destination. Available for some a few countries which are not covered by common EMS service.

(c) Only 1 contact number would be mentioned on the shipment according to Korea postal service shipping policy.

(d) Shipment notification is emailed including tracking number as photos to customer’s kpopita account email after the package is dispatched. Tracking for shipment is available from the next business day of shipping.

(e) Normally takes 2 ~ 7 business days to deliver to other regions after dispatched (can take more than 20 business days to some areas according to local postal service circumstances).

(f) Poster would be folded though chosen unfolded poster option.

(g) Custom clearance and weekend are not included in delivery period.

(h) Only English letters are available for Brazil. Delivery information (name, address) should be provided in English.

(e) Sender (kpopita) is not responsible for any damage or lost of K-Packet during delivery. Not covered by insurance.

5. DHL

(a) Traceable Express Courier Service. With Tracking Number (10 digits number).

(b) Only English letters are available. Delivery information (name, address) should be provided in English.

(c) Initial is not acceptable as receiver’s name (ex. John A., Sara B.) Full receiver’s name is mandatory.

(d) Shipment notification is emailed including tracking number as photos to customer’s kpopita account email after the package is dispatched.

(e) Normally takes 7 ~ 10 business days to deliver to other regions after dispatched (take up to 20 business days or more to some areas sometimes).

(e) Sender (kpopita) is not responsible for any damage or lost of K-Packet during delivery. Not covered by insurance.

6. UPS

(a) Traceable Express Courier Service. With Tracking Number (1Z71W07V**********).

(b) Only English letters are available. Delivery information (name, address) should be provided in English.

(c) P.O Box address is not acceptable. Use actual address only.

(d) Initial is not acceptable as receiver’s name (ex. John A., Sara B.) Full receiver’s name is mandatory.

(e) Shipment notification is emailed including tracking number as photos to customer’s kpopita account email after the package is dispatched.

(f) Normally takes 2 ~ 4 business days to deliver to other regions after dispatched (take up to 20 business days or more to some areas sometimes).

(e) Sender (kpopita) is not responsible for any damage or lost of K-Packet during delivery. Not covered by insurance.

TRACKING

– Tracking number is not provided for Small Packet Air Mail.

– K-Packet, EMS, EMS Premium Tracking

CUSTOM TAX & VAT

kpopita put low price on custom declaration sheet attached on the package to avoid custom issue. Customer can send email to [email protected] after receiving shipment notification and request to issue undervalued invoice if necessary.

– For UPS and DHL shipment, there is no column to classify products as “gift”. Just low price would be mentioned as custom value.

– If customer does not want undervalue, customer should send email to [email protected] within 24 hours after placing an order.

– Actual product price would be mentioned as custom value for DHL and UPS shipment to United Kingdom and Turkey. Undervalue itself is not available for DHL and UPS shipment to UK, Turkey, India and all the EU countries* according to UK, Turkey, India and EU custom’s instruction.

* Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

– VAT obligations for sellers and marketplaces is imposed in many countries since July 1st 2021. It is not included in order amount but the receiver should pay for it to receive the shipment.

– kpopita cannot intervene in custom issue at other countries but just issue undervalued invoice to make shipment release easier. If import tax is charged by customs at destination country, it should be paid by the receiver.

USE OF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION COLUMN

Please do not input part of address or direction (apartment number, P.O Box number, phone number, etc) in additional information column. Additional information is for just for additional request to sender, not for delivery information. What you mentioned at this column would not be shown on the invoice and it may not be reflected on delivery information label attached on the shipment.

DELAY ISSUE

1. SMALL PACKET AIR MAIL

– Normal delivery period of small package is 14 ~ 40 business days from shipment date but it is just estimated period from out experience for years and it can be faster or later due to local postal circumstances or other reasons.

– Investigation request for small packet air mail shipment is available after 40 business days from the date of shipment. Customer should email to [email protected] for its request after a certain period.

– It may take a few weeks to months because it is non-traceable. kpopita is not responsible for any lost or damage of small package but request investigation for service as a sincere seller.

– Delivery of small packet can take months due to local circumstances or natural disaster such as strike, heavy rain or snow, and many other reasons.

2. K-PACKET, EMS, EMS Premium, UPS

– Shipment can be returned to sender (kpopita) due to absence of addressee, insufficient/wrong address, non-reclaim (receiver did not pick up the package within a certain period), etc.

– If no one is at delivery address at the time of delivery, shipment will be back to postal service or return to sender (kpopita). Customer should check tracking result time to time and try not to miss its delivery.

– Shipping cost is the whole expense paid to Korea post and courier companies and kpopita is not liable to refund initial shipping cost though package is returned. And handling cost can be charged separately for some special cases. Delivery can be delayed during busy seasons like Christmas and New year and delay is not compensated during this season.
